Listen up buttercup! Absolutely delicious with the best service. We had a reservation and came very early. We sat at the bar where Nicole and Laura were so amazing we skipped the table and stayed at the bar. They rocked the customer service! We enjoyed the potstickers and the tuna crudo. LISTEN TO ME!! Just dreamy! For entrees we had the sea bass and the steak Chow fun. I have no words, we could have licked the plate. The owner, Herman checked on us. He is a lovely man and very attentive. It’s nice to have the owner check on you. We will be back and thank you again to Nicole and Laura, you made our experience wonderful!!

One of the best Chinese food in the South hands down. The vegetable dumpling was freshly hand made and pan fried to a perfect texture. Personally, I think a touch of shiitake mushrooms in the filling could make it even better. Other than that, liked everything else we ordered, the wings, Chilean bass and steak chow fun were all on point. Our server was friendly and prompt with service.

We had an excellent meal of many small plates, a few larger entrees, some cocktails and desert. Everything was incredible. The flavors of every single dish were so intense (a compliment) and complex & unique. Everyone was thoroughly impressed. The Nutella mousse for dessert really stood out. Can’t wait to come back

The food was so good here, and our server was great and gave good recommendations and was very friendly. Definitely will be back here again and is a great romantic place or for a group

Amazing evening at XO Brasserie with my girlfriend, service and ambience were definitely top tier, some of the best I've had in Charleston. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered dumplings, then had to go back and order more dumplings , they were so good. Our entrees were super, honestly was shocked at how good my fried rice was and my girlfriend's steak dish was superb. Overall one of the best dining experiences I've had in Charleston. The owner was excited and extremely welcoming as well, you could see he has a passion for great food.

We had been planning to visit XO for a long time, so anticipation was built for this one - and we were not disappointed! Charlotte was our waitress, and she was wonderful with making suggestions and guiding us in the right direction, keeping our drinks full, and overall providing amazing hospitality. Highly recommend the Chinese Awakening for a unique cocktail that's a little on the sweeter side (not too sweet). Everything is finally style, so you'll get to try many different options from the menu. My husband and I ordered the following and were very full and very happy when we were finished: cocktails, rice, chili cucumbers, siu mai dumplings, shrimp toast, a chef specialty (with venison and shitake mushrooms), and a dessert ("midnight snack"). The atmosphere was calm, beautiful, clean, semi-fancy, with dim lighting. Service was amazing. I recommend a reservation, but we went on a Wednesday night and were seated 20 minutes prior to our reservation since they had a table available. Everything was delicious. We loved the sauces that came with each menu item. It was fun to try so many different things. And the experience was just top notch.

Not shocking they have 4.9 stars. Top 10 restaurant in Charleston @xo_brasserie. We had the most amazing dinner. Dave, our server was awesome. The owner was amazing. We had: Crab ragoon- real blue Crab - so good Burrrata with peppers was amazing. Pot stickers, best I have ever had. Crispy on the bottom For main dishes we had the Sea bass and chicken. We are definitely going back. Only regret was we didn't get rice with the chicken. The deserts were so genius and amazing. Can't even described them, just get them.

My wife and I go somewhere cool/nice (like XO) every week and this was our top pick after months of eating out at all the best Charleston area restaurants. Great atmosphere, apps, drinks, etc. also right across the street from Edmonds if you need to hang out on the patio and enjoy a beer after your dinner!
